Sometimes blood is spilled on stage. Call the cleaning carpet company.

Sometimes blood must be spilled on stage to ensure  a high gain performance or as a result of one. I know it sounds way to radical, but it´s just the way it is.

This is how my knee ended after a noise session, setted up by a friend of mine. It was recorded for other interesting purpose. Her genius premise: 5 guys who never met before (that was actually kinda true) get together for the first time, and the guys can´t play, so it becomes a big Noise. I was like dammit, am in, I´ll pay you to do that.

I had bleed from other limbs and parts of my body after a gig, this is the first time that I attack myself on the knee. (Let´s call it like that). Am not gonna explain just how this did happened, when the foootage comes out it will be self explanatory. The body as a tool and as an extension of the guitar, and the guitar as an extension of the body. Energy channeling, renovation and movement of it thru the band. Retroalimentation and call and response.

The next day I was playing Hoops at 10 am with the ease of the wind. We don´t give up the fight, never.

What really made it, and am not being Ironic, is that no one who played got payed. This is my twisted vision of purity in the music. Behold, am getting payed in everything else am doing with all the aspects of my music (even so not as much as I would like to). But this one was somehow special. And money payement was just redundant at that very moment. We weren´t there for that. We were there for the Music and the filming of the session, and the Music and a good performance before all. A good visual recording with awesome people and awesome coolness filming crew changed everything.
