My best of 2010
Well, I don´t know why am doing this entry. Prolly cuz am bored. But yes, it´s my best of 2010. Like it will make a big change or whate ever. Pffff. Get over yerself.
Ok, this entry is actually important, cuz for like about ten years I haven´t picked up ONE new band, and I have been very active in a musical listening kinda way. (24 hours, manically and obsessively music listener , as described by a fellow music-lover, who shared living spaces with me)
SO maybe some of this bands albums have not came up in 2010, but it´s a great deal to me, cuz when the whole Vampire Weekend + tons of new bands wave hit, I felt like woah, what´s wrong with me, am I not gonna like a new band ever again? – Like I really did care – (we can dismiss from there Band of Horses and Earlier Kings of Leon – Don´t remember if The Strokes came out this past decade or if they belong to the other one – I don´t listen to em much, and there´s of course The White Stripes and Tinariwen – Which I Idolize – And some great exceptions, Devendra Banhart, per example, but uhm, that´s it. I had a great deal of luck in finding less hyped blogs from people I admire and came to admire that encouraged me to give new bands a listen – It was a weird place – I just dismissed bands and albums when they had the tag “new”, or “just released” on it. I guess now am cured and over it.
Am sure am forgetting some other great bands, but my new bands which have made they´re way into my Ipod playlist this last year were: (and I apologize if they are not new bands…)
Lower Dens – Twin Hand Movement.
Ty Segall – Melted.
Beach Fossils – Beach Fossils.
The Low Anthem – Oh My God Charlie Darwin.
Tame Impala – Innerspeaker.
Best Coast – a whole bunch of their stuff.
Woven Bones – a whole bunch of their stuff.
Grass Widow – a whole bunch of their stuff.
I feel very fulfilled musically. I can say that what 10 years didn´t made up for me, 4 months did.
Kings of Leon – California Waiting.
Lower Dens – Tea Lights.
So there is, 2010 brought me forth lots of new bands to hear, and it came unexceptionably unexpected. Like it´s supposed to be. Things come and go pretty easily. So let´s see what this year is all about, totally unbounded by any happening that´s not from this years on forth. Freedom.

dnd dejas a los obvios NEON INDIANS, zola jesus, idiot glee, ariel pink’s haunted…, lo nuevo de warpaint, high places, el más obvio de todos JAMES BLAKE, a los JJ, GIRLS ( son viejos para hoy) y a mis maestro TRENT REZNOR & ATticus ross, delorean q se son viejos…. a BREAKBOT, y todo aquello q salga de MODULAR PEOPLE, SUBPOP RECORDS, DFA RECORDS, ED BANGER RECORDS, IRMA RECORDS… Etc….
Cuales obvios? – que termino mas desagradable para referirse a grupos musicales en la escena mundial – Naturalmente los dejo fuera. La premisa de esta lista fue sobre bandas “recién formadas” que de alguna manera después de 10 años de que yo no llegase a escuchar mas de 4 ó 5 bandas “nuevas” recurrentemente y mas importante naturalmente, las mencionadas empezaron a formar parte de mi personal sonic landscape diario, en un periodo de tiempo relativamente corto.
El entry tiene sus propias premisas, y dentro de ella no se encontraba por lo menos la de la sección de disqueras. No se trata sobre tus gustos, lo siento. Tampoco sobre lo mas “Hype” del 2010, las cuales las publicaciones on-line te las dan tipo spoon feed, como si la Música fuera una comodidad mas en tu vida diaria. Se trata sobre bandas relativamente nuevas que me animan mucho. Tampoco se trata del todo sobre los releases que sucedieron exactamente en el 2010. Por favor si vas a comentar, hazlo con propiedad.
Un poco mas de respeto a la Música y a quienes la hacen y son parte de ella. Feliz Día de Brujas.
Tienes razon, explico el delito, me fuí directo a la lista de nombres de las bandas, cual ser humano en restoran de comida rápida (McDonalds) donde llegas y te vas directo al menu de los combos… En este mundo globalizado muchas personas cometemos estos errores, terminando en blasfemas ideas, por supuesto no tiene fondo cuando releo el resto del post, por otro lado, cuando digo obvio me refiero a que son obvias para mí, no me guío mucho por las listas de los magazines u otras publicaciones online, sino de lo que escuché el vencido 2010.
Este debate es el que enriquece los blogs, al final todos queremos ser “virtualmente” escuchados, siendo ese el motivo final de las redes sociales, blogs y etc…

Si bueno, a mi me pasa también, aveces. No me puedo contener. Pero para darle el puesto necesario al tema suelo yo leer el entry mas los comentarios, donde los hay, aveces mas de 50 comments, y aveces, luego lo hago. Porque me importa.
En el caso de mi blog, no tienes que hacer ninguna de las 2 (leer los comments o el post), así que espero que los MC_Nuggets hayan estado buenos, por lo menos…
Ja. Los quotes siempre me dan risa. Me imagino a un carajo normal de hace 200 siglos “tuiteandolos”, y la cosa se le hace importante. O a unas comadres inventando citas como directivas con la finalidad de guiar la personalidad de sus hijos…”el que no se levanta temprano, no agarra pescados”…

Like the mutant offspring of The Misfits 7 Seconds Cro-Mags and New York City youth crew bands these guys rip through 16 songs in less than 30 minutes with ease. Niblick Henbane claim to be one of Americas first Oi bands and have been supposedly stomping heads since 1987. This is highly recommended for fans of Fifteen or Crimpshrine or people who dig good old-style melodic punk but are sick and tired of the bands from the Fat Wreck Chords Epitaph mall bilge that masquerade as such…………
